1. Music Intern – Summer

Interns Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of Intern:

Interns would gain insight and knowledge of the industry by way of practical work experience, which include participating in discussions involving film/TV music or music distribution, music clearance and licensing, compiling music and maintaining music library, competitive research, and exposure to various facets of the business

What do we require from you?

  • Pursuit of a college degree in Music or a music-related major.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office required.
  • Passion for the music/entertainment industry.
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor, especially when dealing with talent and/or executives.

Resumption and timeline of Internship: Summer 2019 Internships start in June 2019 and are generally 10 weeks long

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university during the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
  • Must be available to intern full-time in Burbank, CA from Mondays to Fridays starting June 2019 – September 2019.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to provide own relocation housing and transportation.
  • Must be able to provide copy of unofficial transcript and letter of recommendation.

2. Product Management Intern

WB Business Unit: WB Games Boston

Industry: Games Development and Publishing

Interns job description: The Product Management Intern will work closely with the Product Managers on Game of Thrones: Conquest™, as well as additional teams including Game Production, Data Analytics, and Live Operations. The position is responsible for assisting in the planning and development of mobile games across several disciplines.

Interns Responsibilities:

What part will you play?

  • Assist in reporting, planning and communication of Product Management plans.
  • Core focus on merchandising, events, or analysis based on skill set and interest.
  • Assist Product Managers and Data Analysts with analysis of key performance indicators and forecasts for future performance.
  • Plan, execute and analyze A/B tests.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning on the live-operations team.

Interns Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate student in relevant area of study preferred; students with matching experience or interest in product management will also be considered.
  • Strong analytical skills and a “mind for numbers”.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Collaborative attitude, detail oriented and ability to work well within a complex team structure.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience within digital marketing, data analytics and/or product management at a consumer software organization strongly preferred.
  • Fearless when it comes to learning new ideas and concepts.
  • Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables and lookup formulas is required.
  • Experience with SQL or similar scripting languages is a plus.

3. Digital Media Servicing Intern

Industry: Film Production and Distribution

Job description of Interns: if you excited about this position as a digital media servicing Intern you should be excited about the technology and data that make it possible, spend your spring as a Digital Media Servicing Intern with Warner Bros. Worldwide TV Marketing. You will participate hands on in our Agile software development process, from design to testing to launch. You will publish metadata and media that shape the way our titles are described, presented and discovered on internal and external platforms around the world. In the digital world, design is about discovery and metadata is marketing.

  • Publish video, metadata and images to websites and apps and perform quality checks.
  • Test and document new code and features on our sites, apps, and APIs.
  • Create custom marketing art and web pages.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot bugs.
  • Prepare and present data analysis.

What do we require from you?

  • Currently enrolled in a college degree or related trade school program, not graduating prior to September 2019.
  • Preferably pursuing education in digital media, software engineering, or media marketing.
  • Experience publishing for the web.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS.
  • Experience with professional video editing systems and codecs.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and image formats.
  • Basic understanding of how web sites and applications work.

4. DC Digital Service Engagement Intern

Industry:  Film Production and Distribution

Interns job description: The internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of and exposure to a working studio environment. The Company makes a special effort to provide the support and training needed to prepare interns to succeed in real-time projects and assignments.

  • Assist in engagement development and execution on social including identifying beats for engagement activities, support the community and editorial teams, and coming up with new ideas to increase engagement on service.
  • Create engagement end of campaign reports – summarizing key learnings from engagement programs for distribution to core team and to key stakeholders across the studio.
  • Asset Tracking: assist in the development and publication of key materials including assets for editorial, community, encyclopedia, and rewards programs.
  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings across entire DC Universe cross-functional teams – as well as legal and operations as needed. Goal is to give intern an in-depth view of the day-to-day operations of the service while taking notes and providing status updates to all divisions.
  • Assist in managing the service editorial engagement calendar for upcoming months. Duties include recording minutes from weekly meetings, updating calendar with new activities and sending out updates to all relevant parties.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of a college degree in Marketing/Advertising/Business or classes, school projects, internships or work in the area of marketing or content production preferred.
  • Understanding and affinity for DC brand, streaming services – comic knowledge a benefit but not essential.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of social networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat,etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
